About
Jeffrey Holst is a recovering attorney who hasn’t had a bad day in 30 years. An early graduate from Michigan State College of Law with academic honors, Jeffrey later earned his MBA. He has appeared on hundreds of podcasts and radio shows to share his inspiring story of staying positive and overcoming adversity despite multiple life-threatening illnesses and financial ruin.
From Setbacks to Success
At 30 years old, Jeff checked the last item off his personal bucket list—visiting Machu Picchu. But just two weeks later, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Within a year of his cancer diagnosis, he filed for bankruptcy after the debt became unmanageable.
Rather than letting these setbacks define him, Jeff used them as fuel. He pivoted from his legal career into real estate investing, building a portfolio of over 300 residential units and multiple commercial properties—all while maintaining his “No Bad Days” philosophy.
Living an Extraordinary Life
Today, at 48 years old, Jeffrey has achieved what many would consider impossible. He’s:
• Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (2020)
• Visited all 50 U.S. states and 40+ countries
• Landed in Antarctica (2022)
• Retired from traditional employment at 38
• Built multiple successful businesses
• Became a bestselling author with No Bad Days: How to Make Every Day Great
• Founded the Adventure Club, helping others pursue extraordinary experiences
A Life Between Two Worlds
Jeff splits his time between Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, pursuing his passion for adventure and helping others live their best lives.
Philosophy & Mission
As the original “Last Lifer,” Jeff is passionate about helping people live the best possible version of their lives. His approach is simple but powerful: choose happiness every day, embrace challenges as opportunities, and never let circumstances dictate your mindset.
Through his speaking engagements, coaching, and podcasts (Last Life Ever and Old Fashioned Real Estate Show), Jeff shares the practical strategies and mindset shifts that transformed him from bankruptcy and terminal illness to financial freedom and an extraordinary life.
The No Bad Days Theory
Jeffrey’s “No Bad Days” philosophy isn’t about toxic positivity or pretending hard things don’t happen. It’s about choosing how you respond to what life throws at you. Even on his worst days—receiving a cancer diagnosis, filing for bankruptcy, facing seemingly insurmountable challenges—Jeff chose to find the good, learn the lesson, and keep moving forward.
That choice, repeated daily for 30 years, has created a life most people only dream about.
